What is the cost of a day tour?
All tours are bespoke, prices are based on various factors, get in touch today and we will give an immediate quote.
Is there a cost to prepare an itinerary?
No, only once you are completely satisfied with the itinerary and wish to proceed to book secure dates is there a cost involved. There is no obligation to book a tour, all enquiries are completely free of charge.
What is the payment schedule for a tour?
All tours must be secured with a deposit.
Single day tours including cruise excursions are fully refundable (for any reason) up to 30 days before a tour commences. For a single day tour, the final balance is due one week before the scheduled tour date.
For all multi-day tours and golf packages there is an interim payment required 60 days before the tour date and final balance is due 30 days in advance. The deposit is refundable up to 60 days before the tour commences less 10% administration fees.

If we are in Ireland for two weeks and want to do several day tours must they all be booked consecutively?
No, subject to availability you can book the dates that suit you best.
What is included in the cost of a private day tour?
Fully bespoke itinerary customized to suit your group interests, vehicle hire with driver/guide, all tolls, taxes and fuel charges. Entry fees where applicable are paid locally.
During our time on tour can you arrange a restaurant reservation or book an activity for us?
Absolutely, we are happy to assist and will gladly make any reservations / recommendations you require.
Is driver/guide gratuity included in the tour price?
This is a gift of choice and entirely at your discretion.
How many ‘natural breaks’ occur on a day tour?
As you have booked a private tour we can accommodate as many stops as you require, tours are generally 8/9 hours in duration.
We will have luggage with us, can the vehicle accommodate same?
We allocate vehicles in accordance with group size, if there are two travelling then a Mercedes E class would be used, if there are four travelling then a Viano would be on tour. These all have ample luggage room for the said number of travellers, i.e. a suitcase and piece of hand luggage per person.
What currency is used in Ireland?
In southern Ireland you will need Euro and in the north Sterling is needed.
Do you arrange accommodation?
We have two options for you to choose from, we can just arrange vehicle hire with a private driver/guide and in this instance, you can make your own accommodation reservations. However, we do also offer a ‘Complete Concierge Package Service’ which you can upgrade to, this option allows you to list as many extra inclusions as you wish. The cost of this package is subject to what you wish to avail of and will be priced accordingly.
Where do multiday tours commence and end?
All multiday tours can start wherever best suits you, this will be built into the itinerary, we often commence a tour from the airport or if you would prefer to spend a day or two unwinding at your hotel before we begin touring we can pick you up directly from there. It is all about convenience, that is a key advantage of booking a private tour.
Where do single day tours commence from?
We are based in Munster, Southern Ireland so all single day tours commence from that region. Whether you are staying in Cork, Kerry or Limerick we will collect you from your accommodation and return to there again that evening.
Are meals included in tour price?
No, these are not included but your driver/guide will make recommendations for restaurants etc. to suit your requirements and we are happy to arrange reservations for same on your behalf also.
Are driver/guides local?
Yes, they are all local, born and bred!
Do you have your own vehicles or are they contracted?
All our vehicles are our own and our driver/guides are all professionally trained.
Do I need to arrange travel insurance?
Yes, there is no travel insurance cover included in any of our tours. We recommend that you arrange comprehensive insurance before you travel to cover all eventualities.
What happens if my cruise ship does not dock?
Should a cruise ship not dock for any reason we will fully reimburse all monies paid to us in advance of the tour.
What happens if a cruise ship docks late at the port?
Cruise excursions generally commence at 8am if however, the ship is late arriving your driver will be waiting for you once you disembark. We monitor ship times closely from our end to ensure you can relax and enjoy your tour. We will ensure you get to visit all the sites and always endeavor to maximize the experience.
What is the cost of a cruise excursion?
If you contact us with the date of your tour and the number of persons travelling in your group, we will reply immediately with a quote. Due to seasonal changes and group sizes prices differ accordingly.
Payment regarding large groups/cruise excursions?
We only operate private tours, should you wish to secure a large vehicle for a cruise excursion and arrange a group to travel with you we can only in that instance liaise with the lead passenger/organizer. We can not accept individual payments and the booking is solely the responsibility of the lead passenger/organiser.
Are entrance fees included in tour price?
No, the entrance fees are not included in the cost of our tours but these can easily be paid for on site on the day of your tour.
Alternatively, for multi-day tours where you will be visiting numerous sites we recommend you consider purchasing a ‘Heritage Card’, go to www.heritageireland.ie for full details of same. If you wish to upgrade to our ‘Complete Concierge Package Service’ we can then include entrance fees for your convenience. NB: Some entrance fees are included in our small group tour packages, please check ‘what’s included’ for all relevant information.
What is the weather like in Ireland?
Generally Irish weather is pleasant, if you wear layers, comfortable shoes and a rain jacket you will be well equipped for all eventualities weather wise!
